NSW Youth Settlement Snapshot 2016 – 2017

MYAN NSW has released a NSW Youth Settlement Snapshot: A report on the data 2016 - 2017 providing an overview of current youth settlement data for the Humanitarian and broader migration program. The snapshop looks at a range of demographic data, such as: language, gender, age, religion and settlement location.

Engaging Young People from Multicultural Backgrounds through Sport

In April 2014, MYAN NSW and the GWS Giants hosted a sector development forum to bring together youth, mutlicultural and sports organisations to explore ways to use sports to engage young people from multicultural backgrounds. Keeping Their Hopes Alive: A good practice guide to case management with young people from refugee backgrounds

MYAN NSW in partnership with Settlement Services International launched the resource Keeping Their Hopes Alive: A good practice guide to case management with young people from refugee backgrounds as part of Refugee Week 2012.The  guide aims to provide a holistic framework for identifying, targeting and meeting the diverse needs of young people from refugee backgrounds.
